let's get down to business on these rules. first of all, please don't go breaking any of these rules. they're pretty simple and it's pretty hard to break them, but if you do i'll have to warn you and ultimately ban you if infractions continue.

secondly, you need to respect everyone. that's a big rule on every set of rules you've ever seen, right? because it's true. you need to show respect to all members, staff, and guests. on a side note, please answer any guest's (or members for that matter) questions/be polite to them in the chat box. we're all friendly, and i don't want onlookers to think otherwise.

the third rule is that each post must have a minimum of six hundred words in all of your posts. if you slack a little bit (say, five fifty/seventy - five) it's cool. but try more is preferred, but i know that not everyone can bust out one thousand words in a post. and remember, quality over quantity. if you can post a fantastic post in five hundred words that blows everyone's minds, that is a lot better than a one thousand word post where you just kind of gave up and wrote uninspired stuff. please use your best judgement on grammar and of course please use the spell checker.

fourthly, we love plots. try to involve your character's in lots of plotting and interact with other members! that's what roleplaying is all about. on this site, you must post a minimum of three posts in character a week. that means decent in the actually boards. while im threads are good, you need about ninety posts in those to really seem like you're active or have a really decent few threads that have some substance (not "what's up? nothing. oh, cool. look that's two posts! that's my third. lols, let's have text sex.)

the fifth rule is all about your graphics and signatures and whatnot. please, refrain from nudity in your signature and graphics. also, it is preferred that you have a real signature (photos) opposed to just some uncolored, cropped, low quality thing you found on google. we have a graphics request board here or you can go to a place like caution.

sixthly, this site is unrated. i don't want to see sex and drugs all over the place, but if it happens put "m" or "r" in your title. i don't want my virgin eyes to burn (i kid, i kid).

seventhly, make your character's display name "FIRST LAST."

eightly, have fun! have lots of wonderful, splendid fun and roleplay and be happy! comply with all of these rules and you and i and the rest of the world will get on perfectly. go get to your application now, alright?
